Insurance & TSA

Ship with confidence

Virtual Shipment offers you various tools and support during the entire shipping process to provide you peace of mind. Whether you are first time shipping customer or a logistics veteran.

Insurance

Look for the registered mark on the transporter’s ID, all our registered service provider (except Basic & Bronze) provide transit insurance. We recommend you to always go for transit insurance, no matter what you are shipping. It can help you to recover in rare case of damage, accidents, natural disasters, and other losses.
*note – In case the service provider is not registered confirm them if they Provide “Transit Insurance” or not, before you book.

TSA (Transporter’s Security Access)

Doubt your service provider? No issue, our TSA tool assures you the security and safety of your consignment, in any case transporter deliberately theft your consignment, ask for extra amount to deliver your shipment, do not respond after the pickup, make any loss or damage where you cannot claim Transit insurance, do not provide you the documents to be provided to claim the transit insurance or refuses to deliver your shipment then you can get the security amount by the bank. All you need is to apply for TSA while booking the service provider and this will indemnify your shipments. It is to be keep in mind that TSA is different from Transit Insurance / Cargo Insurance. TSA’s major concern is to provide you a hassle-free shipping, it assures you a responsible behaviour of the transporter. Registered Transporters submit the bank bonds for the security, these bonds can be accessed by the Customers in case of deliberate losses caused by your TSP (Transporter Service Provider).

TSA helps to overcome following issues

  • If transporter do not respond after the pickup.
  • If transporter do not respond after the date of delivery mentioned in the contract.
  • If transporter service provider refuses to deliver the shipment.
  • If transporter service provider demand for extra amount (after the pickup) to deliver the shipment.
  • If the shipment is delivered after the date of delivery mentioned in the contract.
  • If TSP refuses to provide the customer with important documents to be used to claim the transit insurance.
